Plan, Agent and permissions

Connect an eligible account when Client access is enabled and open the correct project. Check the available model and its settings; an unavailable model is not evidence that a different model silently ran. Remote AI can be wrong and can receive project context. Do not share secrets or restricted information without authorization.

Plan and AgentCopy Anchor Link

1. Select Plan for read-only investigation and planning. A plan is not a CAD modification. Shift+Tab in the composer toggles Plan and Agent.
2. Select Agent to prepare work in an isolated candidate, subject to the permissions you grant. Broad tool access can reach outside that candidate. Review the resulting activity and candidate before Apply.
3. A completed Plan response with an explicit proposed plan can produce a saved Markdown plan. Open it to inspect or edit the saved plan. Implementing a plan prepares Agent work; saving a plan is not Apply.
4. Use the model control or /model to inspect available models and thinking choices. /thinking opens thinking choices directly. Availability depends on the connected account and service; a running request retains its captured choice.

Read the permissions control before a request. Plan remains read-only. Tool permissions are separate from permission to Apply CAD changes. Full access is broad local execution and is not an operating-system sandbox: it may access files and the network as your user. The current Client control does not grant automatic Apply. Custom settings can specify network, approvals and extra writable folders; the backend validates them. Never grant more authority than the task requires.

Inspect activity and tool results, not just the final answer. Metadata or a property listing alone does not verify a solid. If a question or permission prompt is unclear, do not approve it; stop and inspect the task. If a provider request is interrupted, the outcome and usage may be uncertain. Inspect the conversation and account usage; do not repeatedly resend it. See troubleshooting.
