Privacy, security and limits

Understand the boundaries before sharing project context.

Before a request

Engineering files, conversations and candidate workspaces are held locally by the desktop. Messages, selected or captured context, attachments and tool results may be sent through the server to a remote AI provider. Check what you are sharing and obtain authorization for restricted information. Read privacy and data processing.

Accounts and credentials

The Client stores its customer credential in operating-system secure storage. The company provider key stays on the server. Google and GitHub are the website sign-in methods. Approve only the code on your own Client; administrators can revoke connected desktops when the service is enabled. Revocation does not erase local work. See device login.

Review and limitations

Plan is read-only. Agent work is prepared in a candidate and the current Client control requires reviewed Apply. Full access grants broad local tool authority; it is not an OS sandbox. AI output can be incorrect. Verify geometry, constraints, materials, loads and manufacturing requirements independently. SynthCrew does not certify design safety or replace a qualified engineer.
