Projects and conversations

Keep engineering context, questions and conversations organized.

Before you begin

Open the Client and a project when your question concerns project files. Client access and public AI remain gated; see availability. A General conversation is separate and should not silently inherit the currently open CAD document.

Start in the right context

  1. Select the project and start a project conversation. Check the project named in the workspace before sending a request.
  2. Use Focus to expand chat or CAD + chat to work alongside the native viewport. Closing chat gives the design more space without discarding the conversation.
  3. Use conversation history to return to an earlier chat. History and drafts remain in the application profile. Check the selected project again when returning to work.
  4. When a request needs context, inspect the selected attachments before sending. Do not attach secrets or restricted information without authorization. Remote AI processing can include messages, context, attachments and tool results.

Questions and activity

A question is a request for a decision, not an approved action. Read it and choose or enter an answer deliberately; cancellation or an interrupted run is not a successful answer. Expand activity to inspect recorded actions and results, rather than assuming a reported action completed. If the context or selected project is wrong, stop and start again in the right conversation.

The homepage uses a disposable Client fixture to illustrate the workspace. It is not a live customer request. Continue with Plan, Agent and permissions.
