Read the timeline

Assistant summaries explain what the agent believes happened. Expand the accompanying work section to inspect its tasks and actions. Purpose titles and subtasks come from actual runtime plan metadata; when metadata is absent, a neutral fallback group is more honest than invented intent.

  • Read / Inspect indicates observed inspection activity, not a geometry certificate.
  • Change / Create can describe candidate-only work.
  • Run command is a neutral label when a command cannot be classified reliably.
  • Done applies to the specific action or task shown, not automatically to the whole engineering objective.

A failed or cancelled action must not be read as completed merely because a later summary sounds positive.

Inspect useful evidence

Expand a task, then the relevant action. Check file names, changed properties, results and errors. A list of serialized CAD properties does not prove that a solid is valid. A trustworthy geometry check identifies what was recomputed or measured using the actual engineering kernel.

The transcript is not a place to expose hidden reasoning or secrets. Missing detail is not permission to invent a tool operation from the assistant's prose.

Candidate versus original

A completed Agent task may have changed only its isolated working copy. Review the candidate's files, originating request and Preview results. Only explicit, successful Apply promotes reviewed contents to originals. See Review and Apply.

If the display is confusing

Preserve the conversation. Capture the relevant section and its current state without confidential content. Report whether the action is running, stopped, failed or completed, and whether you changed tabs or layout. Do not delete history to repair an activity rendering issue.
